Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of Bluff Local, a scheduling and RSVP app for recurring home poker games. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

1. What Bluff Local is

Bluff Local helps a host build a recurring or one-time poker game, automatically notify their club, collect Yes/No responses, and (if the host chooses) keep a simple record of who played and finished where. It is a private scheduling tool for clubs you and your friends create — it is not a public marketplace, social network, or payment service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bluff Local. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for any activity under your account. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email — keep access to that email account secure.

3. Clubs, hosts, and members

A club's admin controls its membership and club-level settings. A host controls the details of the games they schedule, including recording who attended and how a game's buy-ins were split. Bluff Local does not verify or referee any of this — it's a record-keeping and notification tool, and club members are trusting their own host and admin, the same as they would running a game night without an app.

4. Money and gameplay — Bluff Local does not handle money

Bluff Local never collects, holds, transfers, or processes any money. Any "buy-in" or "payout" figures you see in the app are informational notes a host types in for their own club's bookkeeping — nothing more. Any money that changes hands between players happens entirely outside the app, in person, between the people involved, at their own risk and subject to whatever laws apply where they live and play. Bluff Local is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, any wagering, gambling, or financial arrangement between users. You're responsible for knowing whether home poker games are lawful where you live before you host or join one.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Bluff Local to harass other members, impersonate someone else, or invite people to a club without their consent. Don't attempt to access another club's data or another user's account.

6. Termination

You can stop using Bluff Local and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Bluff Local is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep scheduling, notifications, and records accurate, but we don't guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bluff Local and its operator are not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from games organized through the app, including disputes over money exchanged between players outside the app.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of Bluff Local after a change means you accept the updated terms.
